Deadline extended to July 28th! Call for Proposals for Samvera Connect 2025 Mexico City

The Samvera Connect 2025 Program Committee has extended the deadline for our Call for Proposals for presentations, panels, lightning talks, and posters to July 28th. This year’s conference will be held in person from October 20–23, 2025, in Mexico City.

With your participation we can create a rich and inclusive program that reflects the diversity of experience within the Samvera Community—from newcomers exploring adoption to long-time contributors and expert practitioners.We welcome proposals on all topics related to Samvera Community technologies and the broader ecosystem of open repositories. Suggested areas include (but are not limited to):

• Case studies and implementation stories

• Local migrations and integrations

• Repository management and outreach

• Development workflows and customizations

• Accessibility: challenges and solutions

• Metadata practices and innovations

We encourage proposals tailored to any segment of our community, including developers, repository managers, sysadmins, metadata librarians, administrators, and all others involved in Samvera-related work.

Proposal formats:

• 20-minute presentations

• 40-minute panels, with a moderated discussion between panelists and a Q&A

• 5-minute lightning talks

• Posters
