Christine Peterson Consulting Joins the Samvera Community as Its Newest Partner

The Samvera Community is pleased to announce Christine Peterson Consulting as its newest Samvera Service Provider Partner, strengthening the community’s collaborative network of libraries, service providers, and technologists dedicated to open source repository solutions.

Christine Peterson brings more than 30 years of experience in library technology and over a decade working within open source environments. Through her extensive career, she has supported hundreds of academic, public, and special libraries in implementing a wide range of technologies from foundational networking infrastructure to accessibility initiatives and full-scale software deployments.

Christine’s involvement with the Samvera Community began in 2023 through her work with another Samvera Partner, Amigos Library Services, where she served as Project Manager for the Amigos Hyku initiative. In that role she contributed to the organization’s successful launch of Hyku as a service offering. Her continued engagement with the community reflects her appreciation for Samvera’s collaborative spirit, mutual support, and shared dedication to open, sustainable solutions.

Now leading her independent practice, Christine Peterson Consulting, Christine is focused on projects that make a meaningful impact and foster collaboration across the library technology ecosystem.
